All bookings must be paid in advance of the start date.
I would prefer you to make a booking and pay on my website which takes payments via PayPal. Please note that all bookings will be pending until funds have cleared. I accept the following payments:
- PayPal - Via my website. You can also pay with a credit or debit card using PayPal's secure payment system without having to open a PayPal account.
- Bank transfers – Should you decide to send a bank transfer, please contact me on email@example.com and I will provide you with my bank details. Please note that it could take up to 2-3 working days for your payment to clear. I would require your payment to be received at least seven days before your class/workshop is due.
Changing your booking
At my discretion, I may allow you to alter your booking, i.e. move to a different class or time slot, depending on availability. However I require a minimum of seven days notice. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org to inform me for any changes you may wish to make. Please note that no changes can be made to your booking if notified after seven working days prior to the start of the event. This is due to the nature that the classes have a maximum number of attendants.
Minimum class numbers
I normally require a minimum class size of three attendants to be booked in order to proceed with a class/workshop. I may choose to run a class with less than the minimum bookings but I reserve the right to reschedule under-subscribed classes. If a class has to be cancelled or postponed due to unavoidable circumstances or if a class is under-subscribed, I will always try to give a minimum of seven days notice and you will be offered an alternative date or credit voucher for the same value to be used on another course (valid for six months). I will not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur as a result of the change.
No-shows or cancellations within the seven days cut off period are non refundable and can not be moved to an alternative date. Unfortunately, I do not offer refunds, if you make a cancellation or do not attend a class as this is due to the limited availability of space in my classes, courses and workshops. Later notice than seven days may only be re-scheduled at my discretion. However, if you are unable to attend the class, course or workshop, and notify me of this before seven days from the start date of the registered and booked class, then you may transfer your booking to a friend or keep as a credit to book against any other class - subject to availability. If you wish to do this you must inform me seven days in advanced by telephone or email.
Vouchers are valid or one year from date of issue and have no cash value.
Waiver of Liability
By booking a class, you agree to release me (Claire Watson, Eli-b Create & Sew) from all liability relating to injuries, loss or damage that may occur during or after attending a class. By booking a class, you agree to hold me entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries, loss, damage incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. You understand that sewing includes the use of machines, needles, scissors, irons and other tools and that these activities include risks that can cause or lead to injury.
From time to time I may take photographs during the class for promotional use. Should you wish to be excluded from photographs and such usage, then please let me know by emailing me at email@example.com.

When you register for a course/workshop, you agree to receive a termly newsletter by email. If you wish to opt out of receiving our termly newsletter, you can click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter when you receive it. Your details will not be shared with anyone else.
