Whether you’ve never used a sewing machine before or you’re looking to build on the skills you already have, you’ll find a warm welcome at Eli-b Create & Sew.
I teach friendly, relaxed sewing classes from my home studio in Byfleet, Surrey, with small groups of just 3–5 people so there’s plenty of individual help and guidance.
If you’re completely new to sewing, the Beginners Introduction to Sewing Course is the perfect place to start. You’ll learn the essential skills you need to use your sewing machine with confidence and begin creating projects of your own.
Classes are available on selected mornings, evenings and weekends.

Sewing courses, workshops & lessons
There are lots of ways to learn at Eli-b, whether you’d like to master the basics, develop your dressmaking skills or simply enjoy making something lovely.
My Create & Sew Courses take you through new skills step by step, helping you build your sewing knowledge and confidence as you progress.
If you prefer to learn while making something, my Sewing Workshops focus on a particular project, with plenty of guidance and practical techniques along the way.
You can also choose from one-to-one sewing lessons, parent and child sessions, sewing parties, quilting classes and The Hive Sewing Club – a relaxed space where you can work on your own projects with support when you need it.
