Piped Applique Cushion Cover Workshop

If you have always wanted to learn to make unique piped cushion covers, then this is the workshop for you.
In the workshop you will learn how to cut out your cushion cover, make and attach your own piping from matching/complementary fabric.
How to do applique design and stitching.
How to insert a zip and finish off your cushion.
We will break about half way through for refreshments, as sewing is thirsty work for mind and body therefore it’s only natural that there will be plenty of tea, coffee and cake to keep us going!
Materials required for Session:
0.50m x 115cm or 140cm wide fabric for cushion.
0.50m x 115cm or 140cm wide fabric for piping.
piece of fabric large enough for the applique design.
Printed applique template.
2.10m length of 5mm cord.
1 x 40cm invisible/concealed zipper.
Matching thread for applique and cushion.
Level: 1-2
