The Make Your Own Makeup/Wash Bag workshop is a wonderful class to take if you are new to sewing, or if you want to learn how to sew a zip and do some basic quilting all while making a useful item, which also happens to make a fabulous gift.
During the session you will learn how to lay and cut out from a pattern, learn basic quilting techniques, learn to sew a zipper and attach a lining to give that professional finish.
You will learn how to pin accurately and sew your pieces together in an easy step-by step process. At the end of the session you will leave with your makeup/wash bag ready to use or you could give it to someone special as a made-by-me gift.
We will break about half way through for refreshments, as sewing is thirsty work for mind and body therefore it’s only natural that there will be plenty of tea, coffee and cake to keep us going!
